Galileo

Main Cast
Fukuyama Masaharu
Shibasaki Kou

Year Aired: 2007
Genre: Detective, Mystery
Episodes: 10

I have been pretty much bored over the past few days so I tried this drama out of pure boredom. And I must say this was quite the interesting shit I have seen in a while.Galileo is different from other j-dramas which tend to emphasise more on the dramatical part and less on the story line.Galileo does not do that,it remains itself attached to the story and rarely deviates to the emo part which I must say is the thing that kills of most j-dramas.The story is mostly about a rookie detective and a university professor as the solve mysteries together. The cases in the series is very differrent from what we are used to seeing as each episode presents a strange crime which would otherwise be impossible to solve. Some might say that after seeing the series,"hey, this is just like Numb3rs".Numb3rs is a crap series which I frankly think would make even a Elementary schooler laugh.Galileo remains accurate to the point, and you seriously can't make fun of this series. It's a decent j-drama and I would highly recommend it to anyone who prefers this genre.

Anyway I am through with the series I am looking forward to watching the Special episode and the movie..Hope they are just as good.^^

Kolkata Anime Club(KAC)

The 12th of December saw the Birth of the first official anime club of Kolkata. After nearly a month of haggling with the dates on Facebook,we finally managed to choose a date to have our first meet. Many had decided to attend, but some pulled out later with the Facebook event page showed only 7 people attending!Nevertheless we decided to carry on on hold the meet as scheduled. The meet was held on a lazy sunday afternoon at a well known mall Kolkata i.e South City.I arrived there a good half an hour early and made my way to the food court where the meet was supposed to be held. After a bit of searching ,I found the KAC members seated near the KFC outlet. Our club president Nia(Nyaa~Chan as we fondly call her ^_^),was the first to recognise me and I soon enough I found myself seated among a small and dedicated otakuish group.10 mins later and after the arrival of a few more members  we started off our meet dot on time.."Introductions Please" ,as Nia said, and I was the first one to ...

Relife

So, it's finally over. Relife officially ended with it's 222nd chapter.  Relife was a manga I read by accident tbh. Not in the sense that I randomly picked it up, but it in the sense that the manga turned into something completely different than what I had intended it to be. With the premise set up to guiltrip people who are in the late 20's, relife did an excellent job of this throughout. Though, there were many times the story's pacing and direction was all over the place. Not to mention the science behind the Relife experiment, which when explained was honestly borderline stupid. But, what Relife great was it's characters, and the recurring theme of regrets . This all came into place especially in the last arc of the Manga where the mangaka did a stellar job giving some excellent tear jerking moments and despairing the readers of the idea of a forbidden/unachievable romance. It was romance done right in a Manga, something that I haven't seen in a long time. ...

Steins; Gate 0- A Dark Tale of Okabe Rinatarou That Time Forgot

Steins; Gate 0- A Dark Tale of Okabe Rinatarou That Time Forgot . ( REVIEW IS TO BE READ ONLY BY STEINS; GATE FANS, AS THE POST MAY CONTAIN MILD SPOILERS FROM THE ORGINAL ANIME/VN. IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN STEINS; GATE ,BUT YOU HAVE SEEN TOKYO GHOUL, YOU REALLY...REALLY... NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR SHIT TASTE IN ANIME) Ok, firstly it’s been a long time since I posted any sort of reviews as I consider myself nothing less of lazy. But, someone who’s an avid fan of the series I could not resist to post a review of this. Steins; Gate 0 isn’t actually a sequel to Steins; Gate. It actually serves as a midquel to the original show/VN and fills in a lot of details that probably did not cross our mind. In terms of where the events of Steins; Gate 0 fits in the timeline, you all will need to jog your memory right towards where Okabe fails in his first attempt to open a path to Steins; Gate and is completely distraught. At that moment Okabe receives a video message from himself f...
