ChäoS;HEAd(カオスヘッド)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Information: Type: TV Episodes: 12 Status: Finished Airing Aired: Oct 9, 2008 to Dec 25, 2008 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChäoS;HEAd is one of those anime which has a great beginning and gets idiotic and stupid later. The series involves Takumi Nishijo, a high school student at the private Suimei Academy, and the strange events that have recently occurred in the Shibuya area.A series of murderous events referred as the "New Generation" events occurs and somehow Takumi thinks that he is the one who unconsciously committing those crimes.Sounds interesting doesn't it???Well I thought so too.The first few episodes are as a fact quite interesting, and you get the feeling.."Wow!!This is gonna is a great anime".That's when things started getting kind of complicated. The introduction of the 'di-sword','Gigalomaniac&

Hana Yori Dango(花より男子)

(Note: I reviewed the series as a whole..i.e the 2 seasons of the series and the movie that followed it ) Hana Yori Dango was my first attempt at watching a j-drama.And after watching many more,I'd say that Hana Yori Dango remains my favorite j-drama till date. The drama provides a nice balance of comedy ,sadness, love, hate, jealousy and other dramatic elements. The drama is based on a very popular manga of the same name. The story involves girl from a not so rich family(actually quite poor) who is studying in an Elite school for the rich.Besides that the school is apparently run by a group of 4 boys(who are quite handsome!) called F4 who reign total dominance over the school as their parents donated vast amounts of money to the school. Our Heroine,Makino Tsukushi(played by Mao Inoue ) has a run in with the group and gets into trouble especially with the head of the group Domyouji Tsukasa(Played by Jun Matsumoto ) From there on the story mainly focusses on Makino's relations with

5 centimeters per second(秒速5センチメートル)

5 centimeters per second-A Chain of short stories about thier distance, isn't just any other anime movie. It IS one of the BEST Anime movies out there.5 centimeters per second is a masterpiece of a work by director Makato Shinkai who is well known for his earlier works(She & her cat,Voices of a distant star,The place promised in our Early days). The movie is seen a crucial departure from his earlier works in which futuristic themes provided the background settings of his movies.5 centimeters per second ignores all that and focuses on a realistic theme and setting. The name of the movie 5 centimeters per second i.e why the movie is named such is revealed in the first scene of the movie in which Akari one of the lead characters quotes that "5 centimeters per second is the speed at which cherry blossoms fall".The main story of the movie deals with the lead characters Akari Shinohara (篠原明里),& Takaki Tohno (遠野貴樹)who are in love with each other and how they struggle to mai

The Craziest PV out there..(probably)

Tommy Heavenly6 is known for her crazy PV's in j-music community, but I have to say Blackpapermoon is probably the craziest I have seen. The music is good and is worth listening to,It retains the same sound with Tommy Heavenly6 is known for..(The Alternative+Punk combination is quite good btw!) .But the main thing is the PV.The PV makes a great parody of the well known classical movie 'The wizard of Oz',with Tommy Heavenly6's madness added to it..I had an enjoyable time listening and watching the video..Hope everyone else likes it too!! ( This PV is actually a bit old,it came out on December 08.I heard the song first in Soul Eater, but I did not manage enough time to put my comments on this music..plus I did not even have a blog back then!! ) (Tommy Hevenly6 never looked sooo...umm seductive??) Btw here's the pv!!

About the dumb blogger...

Hi!!everyone....It's me the creator of this blog.I know I am quite poor of a blogger and quite inconsistent with my posting(I am a newbie and have a rather busy schedule during the week). Let's skip that for now!!I started blogging last month and I haven't introduced myself.Sorry about that,I know the fact that I am quite an airhead(and sometimes people around me tend to get the feeling that I suffer from a mild form of Alzhiemer's,which is actually quite not the case..honestly!!) I think I have bored everyone enough....Anyway let's get started.... I am Anhishek Dasgupta,20 years ,currently residing in kolkata,India.I go by the name of Stupidsama on the internet.I have more or less always had this obsession with japanese culture...I have been more or less into it since 2003.Anyway being a college student is tough(tougher if you aren't academically bright!!),I really have a problem managing my schedule so I don't get much time to come online.Anyway here'

The end of the greatest troll in the history of mankind!

(Go for it Kyon!!) As I had said before Haruhi S2 entered an almost infinite loop of repeat episodes called The endless eight arc.The story was in the arc since episode 2....and after 8 painful episodes, the story arc finally ended with episode 9.Honestly speaking I didn't expect it to end so soon, but it was kinda fun though....even though we already knew how exactly the arc was going to end!! After 2 months of endless eight we can finally now look forward The disappearance of Haruhi suzumiya arc...Let's hope the next arc is good(BTW there's only 4 more episodes to go)

Sora no manimani Episode 4

(The guy is confused!!) Episode 4 deals with the gang's trip to the beach!!..well to stare at the stars of course(at night!).The episode retains the comedic elements of the series with with enough funny moments to keep you entertained in the way.And of course our club members have a run in again with the literary club members(funny scenes there!).Besides all the fun thing that happens in the episode,we notice that Saku seems to be having mixed feelings towards mihoshi, which is shown for the first time in the series.(noo..hime-chan)!Though I guess it's still to early to guess where their relationship might head.... Hime-chan FIGHT-OH!!

What the hell was this??

One fine day while I was searching youtube for some interesting videos..I suddenly came across this insane mimicry of Indian superstar Rajnikanth !! Check out the video, this one is actually from a show in japan...LOLZZ

Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou(続 夏目友人帳)

Synopsis Continuing on from the first season, Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou follows the story of Natsume, a boy who has been able to see ghosts since he was little. Unfortunately, humans shun him, and there is not much fondness between him and ghosts either. One day, he inherits a Yūjin-Chō ("Book of Friends") from his grandmother. The book is actually full of contracts that his grandmother made to trap ghosts. As one ghost after another shows up, Natsume tries to release or help them — even while many of them seek vengeance on him. - ANN My Review: The Sequel to Natsume Yuujinchou absolutely did not disappoint. The sequel did not just live up to my expactations, but it was actually better than the first series!!The sequel followed all the elements in the prequel, but with better animation, better execution of plot and better ..well everything(as compared to the first!).When I was through with the last episode...I was thinking ..."I want more".Not that the series did not e

Natsume Yuujinchou(夏目友人帳)

Synopsis Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him. Containing the names of these spirits, a binding contract was formed between the spirits and the owner of the book. Now, Natsume is determined to free the spirits and dissolve the contracts. With the help of a spirit cat, his days are filled trying to return the names to these spirits. (from ANN) Episodes: 13 Status: Finished Airing Aired: Jul 7, 2008 to Sep 29, 2008 My Review: Natsume Yuujinchou is one those anime that come once in a blue moon. The anime is a very light, comedic(at times) and interesting. After watching anime like Nana,Bleach,Darker Than Black..etc ,Natsume came as very nice diversion. This very peaceful anime lightened up my heart. Most anime have the tendency to get start off well, but tend to get rather boring, stupid, immature and unrea

The endless episodes of endless eight

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2 The new episodes of the 2nd "season" of Haruhi Suzumiya aired in chronological order along with the re-airing of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2006 in what is called according to Kyoto Animation: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2009 Back in 2007 when I started watching the first season of Haruhi suzumiya ,I immedeatly fell in love with the series. The series was very addictive and the characters were very likable.I waited patiently for the new season for a year and a half, and when the new season finally started airing in May this year I was really very exited. The season started off well with first 2 episodes living upto my expectations, but then the series entered an endless loop of the endless eight arc. Why am I so upset??Simply speaking episodes 2,3,4,5,6 are all the same!!No I am not joking!!They are the same, down to the last detail, with very few minor differences among the episodes. Our gang seem to have entered into a time loop in
